I absolutely loved the seminar room at Hotel Schwarzler. It was so quiet and the bright lighting made me feel awake and focused. Plus, having direct access to the outdoors was a breath of fresh air. As a guest with disabilities, I really appreciated this feature.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of one thing at the hotel. But hey, it's just my opinion.

Hotel lies in a quiet area, although a bit far from the lake. Car is recommended. Free wifi available with good connection
Hotel is too expensive for the quality and comfort. Spa area is in underground without windows, swimming pool is also closed and windows cannot be opened which gives a stuffy climate with strong chloride scents - not the nicest environment to relax. Food at restaurant is good but on the pricey side as well. The breakfast buffet was just ok, not 4 stars level though with very few warm dishes ( only scrambled egg bacon sausage). Overall the hotel looks very "business like", probably ok for a convention but not very romantic.

Great location, just a short stroll away from the Seebuehne Cultural Center. You can easily walk to a Christmas market and a market right across the street. 🎄

During my recent business trip to Bregenz, I had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Schwarzler, which was selected by my director. The highlight of this hotel was undoubtedly the Schwärzler Spa, where one can truly relax and unwind after a fulfilling day. The Finnish sauna and steam bath provided the perfect escape, while the quiet area and reading corner with a tea bar allowed me to find solace in a peaceful environment. The spa facilities were well-maintained and created a serene and rejuvenating experience.
At the weekend we arrived, the larger construction site was still ongoing but in its finals.

The staff was warm and inviting to us. Also the meal at the restaurant was good and the service was excellent. The pool stayed open until midnight which was very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.
Location was a little out of the heart of the city. There was not much around within walking distance.

For us it was a stop on our way to the ski resort. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The food was very good, but more expensive than average. They were very children friendly too. The sauna and pool are are great!
Nothing was really negative. Maybe the heating could be turned down a little

Very friendly staff - not fake, honest. The hotel is nice, clean, and you get free WiFi (even in the room). Breakfast was included in our rate and it was quite decent. Free parking is available and the pool/sauna was very nice too.
Down town Bregenz is in walking distance - however, it still needs about 20-30 minutes. Price-wise, it's on the expensive side, in our view. Still, for what you get, it's worth paying a bit more.

Just a 40-minute drive away, we found the Brandnertal Bike Park with its amazing freeride and downhill trails. It was perfect for our family as it had routes for all levels, from beginners to advanced riders. We had a blast exploring the trails and enjoying the beautiful scenery. , the Bregenz Spring, with its captivating opera productions, orchestral concerts, and lively dance performances, was a treat for us. We were thoroughly entertained and impressed by the talent and energy of the performers.
For dads, it would be great to have more family-friendly activities or a dedicated children's play area.
